About the role:

 

 

The Senior Database Architect Leader is primarily responsible for the databases that support company applications. Responsibilities also include overseeing a small development team consisting of architects and developers. This role includes evaluating and strategically improving the existing schema of legacy products as well as designing and creating for new development.  This leader will participate in strategic planning and will work closely with algorithm and software architects on the overall design for technology solutions. Candidates with both strong database skills and product development leadership experience have an advantage.

 

 

Responsibilities:

·        Analyze existing legacy system databases to determine data availability and needs with respect to the legacy applications.

·        Identify areas for database schema and code improvement

·        Define standards and frameworks for data architecture design

·        Develop, implement, and maintain relational database structures, tables, data sets, and user data schemas across MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, and Postgres instances

·        Write database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary

·        Ensure the performance, integrity, and availability of database instances through forward-looking design and proactive monitoring and maintenance

·        Perform data profiling and analysis to assess data quality patterns, recommend data cleansing rules – conforming data standard rules and matching algorithms

·        Provide support for database and application incidents, working closely with application developers, support staff, and infrastructure engineers

·        Provide coding and database architecture assistance to the Application Developers

·        Estimate, document, review and evaluate application requirements and specifications

·        Work with product owners and internal analytics customers to gather project requirements, analyze needs and process flow to develop user-oriented data solutions

·        Work with application developers, project managers, business owners, analysts and clients to develop database solutions to validate system requirements

·        Create new or enhanced components of the data warehouse

·        Provide expertise in designing, creating, deploying and managing an organization's secure data architecture within a hybrid Azure and on-prem environment.

·        Develop data architecture principles, creates models of data that enable the implementation of the intended business architecture, creates diagrams showing key data entities, and creates an inventory of the data needed to implement the architecture vision.

·        Assist with providing documentation artifacts for data assets and inter-relationships.

Candidate Requirements:

 

·        5+ years of experience in SQL, Database Development

·        Experience in healthcare data and databases is required

·        Experience with database administration and design of enterprise database systems

·        Experience managing multiple database platforms including MySQL and MS SQL

·        Experience with AWS or Azure portals, configuration, and maintenance via the portal

·        Experience with enabling and configuring cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP

·        Product development leadership experience, including managing direct reports

·        Familiarity with HL7 standard

·        Minimum 1 year experience using Azure\AWS IaaS and\or Azure PaaS\AWS

Responsibilities:

As a Family Medicine Physician you will conduct exams and develop plans to evaluate and treat injuries, acute illnesses, and chronic conditions.  This includes educating patients on preventive care, referring to specialists, prescribing medications, and performing minor surgical interventions, diagnostic tests, and screening evaluations.     Technical Application Specialist   

  • We are looking for a permanent Technical Application Specialist for an international Life Sciences company’s sample management software suite. This application specialist will support USA based customers. The candidate should expect some travel (but not regular travel) to customer sites.
