We are looking for a Director, Lawson Financial Systems to manage a team of IT professionals responsible for supporting the entire spectrum of Lawson financial systems for a national health system.

This position also acts as a strategic partner to the business team leads ensuring the Lawson platform is optimally utilized to achieve strategic goals.  

The Manager, Lawson Financial Systems will support the following Lawson modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Materials Management, Assets Management and Allocation Management, Cash and Treasury Management, Human Resources and the Cerner Interface to Lawson.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage Lawson support team with responsibilities as follows:

o   Develop and execute a training plan for all facilities to keep all staff current on the Lawson financial systems.

o   Provide testing and certification of system functionality when applying system patches.

o   Provide system testing and validation for all Lawson ESP’s and MSPs as well as major system upgrades.

o   Provide support for all data conversion and data validation efforts on facility acquisitions.

o   Provide support to Payroll and AP for MHC Document Express on an as needed basis.

o   Research issues to find root cause and work with technical staff to resolve.

o   Perform data extracts and queries of the data base to extract data for facility and corporate staff.

o   Create and maintaining all supporting documentation for Lawson.

o   Provide testing and certification of all system patches or new releases that must be installed to remain compliant with Lawson support. 

  • Act as a strategic partner to the team leads on the business side, GL, MM, AP, FIN, HR.
  • Provide Support for the Lawson Financial Systems application.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, training events and performs all necessary system safeguards to ensure that the system remains stable.
  • Work closely with internal and external resources to Integrate Lawson with other systems as required.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop IS team to deliver a high level of service to the business customers, maximizing the use of the Lawson platform to achieve strategic and operational goals.
  • Performs all other duties as required.

Keys to the job:

  • Required: Advanced expertise in management of Lawson Financial Systems.
  • Required: Basic working knowledge of networking, Windows Active Directory Domains and Windows operating systems.
  • Required: Intermediate to advanced expertise in SQL-PL and MS SQL Server management.
  • Required: Intermediate to advanced programming skills in VB Script, Java Script, Jquery, HTML, PHP and C#.
  • Required: Demonstrated experience managing highly productive multi-disciplinary teams, and inspiring the best in people.
  • Preferred: Lawson certifications a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree, Masters preferred.

We are looking for a Clinic Physician (Internal Medicine speciality preferred) to work full-time in Kansas City to provide care for the employees (80% women) of a large, local hospital. This is at a state of the art, on-site health center. Doctor will also look after the employees’ adult family members (18 years and above.) Excellent conditions. Very desirable location.

Summary

This position comes with low on-call volume, no hospital rounds, and more time to spend with patients and focus on quality of patient care. You would be one of three MDs (there are also 2 NPs) and see on average 14-16 patients/day. You would have 500-750 patients overall. 80% of patient population will be female so women’s health experience is desired. You would have an assigned medical assistant and LPN care coordinators. This is a full service primary and urgent care with its own pharmacy, which also employs an onsite BH therapist, dietitian and athletic trainer. Facility is a test site for the very latest healthcare technology and information systems operated by the one of the best healthcare technology companies in the world.

Responsibilities:As a Clinic Physician you will conduct exams and develop plans to evaluate and treat injuries, acute illnesses, and chronic conditions.  This includes educating patients on preventive care, referring to specialists, prescribing medications, and performing minor surgical interventions, diagnostic tests, and screening evaluations. You will also coordinate with the members of the care team including nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and other clinical staff as needed.
