Job: Data Warehouse Engineer 


Health System’s Software Development department is looking for a driven, pragmatic Data Engineer with real-world experience creating and maintaining enterprise-grade data solutions in the cloud. Utilizing industry-leading technologies and modern architectural concepts, the Data Engineer will provide expertise in multiple areas including data systems design, web-based workflows (ETL), advanced analytics, BI, Big Data, cloud storage and cloud processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and implement enterprise-grade data solutions for large-scale, multi-tenant web applications
    • Produce high-quality, well architected solutions with an upfront focus on testing and long-term support
    • Ensure best practices and industry standard patterns are utilized whenever possible
    • Actively review existing code and other developers' work and provide feedback
    • Collaborate with developers and analysts on technical and functional designs

• BA/BS/MS in Computer Science or related 4+-year technical degree

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, or equivalent DBA + software development

Description: Need to find Biztalk developers preferably with healthcare integration project experience (to help integrate approx 200 different systems into Epic applications.) Epic experience is not required.

Our first 3 contractors just started in Norway in the past month on the first in-country Epic hospital implementation. Now we need 10 more people to fly over and work in Norway for 6 months—(repeated schedule is 6 weeks on and 9 days home.) There is some flexibility with the travel home schedule.

This wave of consultants will start in Trondheim, Norway in late October. Office and accommodation are excellent and walking distance from each other. Office is on 4th floor and with a view of Norway’s biggest fjord. Team on the ground there now are doing a great job and say it’s a fantastic project.

We are looking for a Clinic Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to work full-time in Kansas City to provide care for the employees (80% women) of a large, local hospital. This is at a state of the art, on-site health center. Doctor will also look after the employees’ adult family members (18 years and above.) Excellent conditions. Very desirable location.

Summary: This position comes with low on-call volume, no hospital rounds, and more time to spend with patients and focus on quality of patient care. You would be one of three MDs (there are also 2 NPs) and see on average 14-16 patients/day. You would have 500-750 patients overall. 80% of patient population will be female so women’s health experience is desired. You would have an assigned medical assistant and LPN care coordinators. This is a full service primary and urgent care with its own pharmacy, which also employs an onsite BH therapist, dietitian and athletic trainer. Responsibilities: As a Clinic Physician you will conduct exams and develop plans to evaluate and treat injuries, acute illnesses, and chronic conditions.  This includes educating patients on preventive care, referring to specialists, prescribing medications, and performing minor surgical interventions, diagnostic tests, and screening evaluations. You will also coordinate with the members of the care team including nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and other clinical staff as needed.
