Have you program managed  the entire acquisition process of multi practices for a health system and then stayed for the conversion process to follow, preferably of eCW to Cerner Ambulatory? If so, we have a health system is in the process of acquiring a medical practice consisting of 20 locations and 100 clinicians and they are looking for a PM to assist them. The initial work will be to plan to move the practices to their ERP. This IT planning work is to start sometime in February. Eventually the plan is to convert the practices from eCW to Cerner Ambulatory and Patient Accounting. The Cerner Ambulatory roll out for their current practices is August through October. The new practices would go live sometime after October. Therefore, this could be a long term role.

 

The candidate should have experience with IT project planning, resoucre allocation, and budgeting. This will be a large part of the initial work. Candidate should have project management methodology expertise and experience as well as formal approaches to testing and user acceptance. Person should however be acustomed to dealing with a NY/Northeast culture in regard to people, geography, pace, personality types, etc.
